Anna Ranieri has been a counselor and consultant for over fifteen years. Prior to that time, she worked in the fields of marketing and institutional development. Her own experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations informs her work in helping people in organizations to achieve success.
Dr. Ranieri assesses individual and team performance and provides developmental plans for individual employees and for groups. As an executive coach, she helps people to optimize their behavior, their communication skills and their ability to plan and execute their responsibilities. She has worked at all levels of an organization to help people and groups to become more effective.
Anna uses a number of assessment instruments to help analyze both individual and organizational issues. She is certified in the use of the major tools used to evaluate occupational fit, career interests and aptitudes, personality and leadership styles. She utilizes standard and customized 360 degree feedback measures to obtain data on the performance of team members and to develop plans for change.
She has created and successfully implemented change management and teambuilding interventions to aid organizations in which significant structural changes such as major growth, leadership succession, mergers of disparate teams, or significant downsizing are occurring.
Dr. Ranieri frequently presents to clients on a variety of topics that relate to individual and organizational effectiveness and is known as a lively and compelling speaker. She has conducted research on effective decision-making and on workplace health, and has developed electronic and traditional coursework in stress management and related topics. She holds a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Stanford University, an MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor's degree in English and Italian Literature from Yale University.
